MALIK DEERING

This exceptionally captivating and creative instrumentalist will open the day at 11:00am with the perfect vibe. Don't be late! A pitcher of mimosas would be the perfect compliment to this performance!

SWEET & SASSY!

Hold on to your hats! Sweet 'n Sassy will wake you up at noon with hits from their album Raw Sugar! BYOBeachChair and a picnic lunch! When they are done, you will still wonder which one's Sweet and which one's Sassy! With special guest artist Erin Shawn Hawkins adding impeccable cello and 3 part harmony, could this be the rebirth of the beloved LA3way??

1:00 p.m.

Great Willow
Next up at 1:00pm is this solid songwriting duo Great Willow. A recent fortuitous discovery of mine when we shared the stage at Adrian Rice's never disappointing monthly songwriters' showcase in Costa Mesa, these 2 blew me away! I knew they had to be a new addition to Stoner Sundays, so be ready to give them your warmest Stoner Sundays welcome!

2:00 p.m.

Tracy Newman

2:00pm brings our own treasured local legend Tracy Newman to the Stoner Sundays porch for an unforgettable collection of songs you will never forget. A consummate storyteller, this Emmy and Peabody Award winner will have you hip-mo-tyzed with her impeccable stories through song. From Johnny Carson to The Groundlings to the Ellen Show, she is a true master. Do not leave this earth without having experienced her magic.

3:00 p.m.

MV3

It's MV3 @ 3! This year, please thank our beautiful community group Mar Vista Music Project for involving us west siders with the long running PorchFest LA. It is through MVMP that MV3 was born right after the Palisades/Alta Dena fires where MVMP hosted a successful charity music event for the L.A. Firefighters and 1st Responders at St. Bede's Church in Mar Vista. MV3 was invited to be featured, and Al Keith, Frank Nemiroff and yours truly quickly conceived the name MV3 just in time for the downbeat! Be sure to catch our MarVista community genesis with great harmonies and original songs by Karen and Al, with Frank's flawless keyboard and banjo accompaniment.

4:00 p.m.

Shoo Flies
Our grand finale, saving the best for last we bring you our own Venice Canals' Shoo Flies! Their wonderful energetic bluegrass will have you out of your beach chairs, moving and shaking to their fun and frolics. With some wonderful patriotic closers dedicated to a country in need, please be ready to hold hands and sing along with old time favorites. Let's sing it loud and sing it proud together:
This land IS OUR land!
